This is a project I did for a sign up swap using the designer Fabric Twitterpated (125412) also the stamp set Sweet Cakes (125490) and the alphabet Letter It (113684). You may not notice the Dazzling Details (125585) and the cute Twitterpated Buttons (125579). There are several pages inside for your favorite desserts. This is one of my swaps that I have done for my getaway. Today I arrive in San Antonio Texas. I have a couple of days to be a tourist so hopefully that is what I am up too.
The stamp set Bringing Baby (122905) is found in the main catalog. It is one of the few single stamps that we sell. I used the embossing folder Houndstooth (123134). and some of the new Bakers twine found in the occasional mini. The Jewelry Tag punch (117190)made the little tag.

Tomorrow I start the first leg of my trip to Texas to attend Leadership conference. I will be flying out of Grandforks so plan on doing a little shopping.

I have used the pewter embossing powder which is from the holiday mini BUT is still available on this image. which is from Take it to Heart (125522), cut the hearts with the Hearts Collection (125599) framelits. One card is white, the other vanilla, its not too easy t o see but I used the textured Embossing folders Adorning Accents (125601) which is a set of three in the Occasional mini.

Good morning today was post day for me. I got my new box of toys from the up coming Occasional mini and the sale a bration mini as well. Did get into my craft room and have started to make some samples yea.. With clearance rack blitz starting I have just been to darn busy to post. Placed a order late last night thank you to those who contacted me. Now I really do intend to get a grip and post regularly again with samples. Need to come up with some swaps for Leadership next month as well so to the drawing board as they say.

Last big banquet

We held our last big banquet of this season boy am I glad of a rest. The decorations were fantastic the food of course superb!!!!

Christmas Tree is up

I got the tree up today, it looks pretty good. I am cooking Christmas dinner this year hope the weather is good that weekend right now we have very little snow. I do have some baking to do haven't wrapped any gifts yet and do have a parcel to mail to the oldest son and his family. I also do calenders for each of the kids and haven't finished them yet either lots of things to do. Stampin'UP! used to sell the 81/2 by 11 calenders now I have to make my own. The bind it all comes in handy for that. Hope most of you are more organized than me this year. Usually I am on top of things but got behind this year.

I work part time in catering, we had a banquet the other night. The center piece for the table was a very pretty cake. with lots of chocolate... the dessert plates were tied up with a bow. One of the highlights was a snack table. Lots of treats here and set up very nice too. I am sure everyone enjoyed the evening.

Hello well here we are into the countdown for Christmas.. I did finish the stocking I have been working on. With many finger pricks, and straining to to thread the needles its done. Now all the grandchildren have homemade stockings. Hope Alexis enjoys hers as the years go by.
Was in the city shopping a few days ago and I could of bought a stocking for a lot less and saved my fingers. BUT it just wouldn't be the same as one of these with all the sequins...made by grandma

Today is Remembrance day both in Canada and the USA. Our Canadian Flag flies in the back yard and in the front yard the US Flag. I attended many a service as my father was a vet and my son and daughter both were cadets for years.

Yesterday was quite nice and you can see we have no snow yet, but my husband brought out the snowmen and started to do the house for the holidays. So much easier when it's not so cold..

I have used the set Bringing Baby(122905) and colored just a bit on it. The with the big shot used scallop circle two die (113469) and the 2 1/2 in circle punch (120906) the white paper was also put through the Big Shot with the Perfect Polka Dots folder (117335)

Here is another card using Thoughts and Prayers (113252) this is such a nice set, and easy to use. I also used the Top Note Die (113463) and the Large Oval Punch (119855). The coloring has been done with markers.

Today I am at Regional's all day enjoying the company of hundreds of fellow demonstrators. Learning some new things to share when I get home and of course swaping to get new samples and Ideas.
This one of my swaps today a little matchbox full of candies. I have used the matchbox die (114890), punches 1 3/4 scallop circle (119854) and 1 inch circle (119868)Stamps used are Batty for You (116576) and It's a Wrap Holidays (122770) .

Today I am getting ready to go to Leadership in Edmonton Alberta, we will leave later on today. This is one of my swaps as you can see I made a bookmark which will detach as a small gift.. Fun Fun Scrapbook day!!!

Yesterday I was a part of the Pembina Valley Challenge An Amazing Race! The teams that came to my stop had a two tear challenge they had there pictures taken (old time clothing) great pictures. and then they came here and had to make a 12/12 page. I had 37 teams come. What fun and what GREAT pages they came up with. Here is just a sample... Every one seemed to have a great time. I want to thanks the teams for choosing my challenge and also for the donations to my charity. Pennies for Change.

It was a fun day for me, thanks Francee for helping out I really appreciated the help.

We are now into the month of September that means fall, cooler weather, leaves turning color and starting to fall off the tress. This card is done with retired stamps but we do need to use them. The words are embossed with white and I just used different colors of ink to white paper.

Stiched Stockings

This idea was Jackie Topa's idea at least it was her web site I saw a similar card. It uses the Stitched Stockings (c) 123784 (w) 123782 from the holiday mini and the Stocking Builder Punch (124095) that goes with the stamp set. Makes a cute baby card. The Lace Ribbon Border punch (122362) was also used the strip was cut in half to make the border. Doing this makes this Holiday set a little more versatile..

Lovely as a Tree

This card is much pretter in person. The tree is done on Brushed Gold Paper (102935) embossed with several colors. The Lovely as a Tree stamp set one of my very first sets.(115026) is found on page 114 of the main catalogoue,

I added some very vanilla ribbon and them punch out the Merry Christmas with the oval punches.

Thank you Gina Taylor for this idea I recieved a card done with this technique in a swap at convention.

Candy Apples

Today is the kick off for The Corn and Apple festival here in Morden. It runs through Sunday Aug 28th. It is a big celebration here and can bring in about 40,000.00 people. There is free corn and apple cider for everyone, carnival rides and much more . Lots of family and old friends are found on the streets that have been closed off the duration.
So when I saw this candied apple I had to make a couple thanks Lynn P for the inspiration. They look good enough to eat...
