As today is the last of 2010 and we prepare for the NEW YEAR I Hope every one does have a safe New Years Eve for those going out drive safe, have a designated driver if you indulge in the bubbly. and enjoy your evening. I will be working tonight watching the Old Time Dancer's bring in the new year.

Santa Clause is coming to town

Is the guy coming to your house tonight? This is Christmas eve day, so I will be doing some last minute preparations, then off to church and we have our granddaughter here and she can open one present. The rest will be opened tomorrow when the rest of the family get here.
This little guy is a toilet paper roll and some felt legs and arms with a little cotton batting added. Small children can make this guy.

Another Pointsettia

I received another beautiful flower from work this one is so big looks great on my dinning room table I moved the white one to the kitchen table It looks good there as well. I feel so lucky to have two beautiful plants..
Today I am off to get my granddaughter so she can spend a few days with us, the rest will come for Christmas. Don't forget to be good Santa is watching.....

Birthday Party fun

Hi I had six eight year old's here the other day for a birthday party. Here are two projects that they made. The flower pencils are always a hit. and the little note books the girls love to make them. I used (sneek peek) Punch Bunch from the sale a bration mini. Isn't that little owl just the sweetest. Snowman face bag

Hi I may have shown these before I know I made them last year and a few days ago a group I belong to wanted a craft project so these are what the ladies made. I had done all the punching so it was just a matter of putting it together. Of course the Big shot was used and many dies and punches. The ladies enjoyed there project.

Recycled Christmas cards

These tags are made from card, just cut up a good way to recycle some that you messed up the inside or some you have received. Christmas is not to far away now and I still have lots to do as I am sure many of you do too. Two of my three children and families are planning on coming home so Grandma better get busy. There are a few favorites that will need to be made for the upcoming holiday.

This is a little box I have used retired Glorious Green paper and ribbon. The Build a bear die's Bear die (117977) and Beary Merry (117980)I have put my gift cards inside.

Pointsettia

Received this beautiful Poinsettia Plant after the last banquet we served the other day. Was a nice surprise the following day to go in and find it waiting for you after a very long 10 hour day of cooking for 550 people. Thank you Meridian, now my dear hubby won't have to buy me one.

O Christmas Tree

Got my Big Shot out and the die O Christmas Tree Pop Up (116822). Last year I told my self that I was going to make several cards that pop up well here we are in the middle of December and guess what I didn't get it done..As the farmer says maybe next year...

This uses a retired set called Heavenly Peace I have always like this set our church ladies group made these for our shut in's.

This card was done by one of my down line. I love what she did with the ribbon and of course Cherry Cobbler is one of my favorite colors. I received a very similar card like this either at Leadership last year or convention not sure, or who the artist was. I have changed him a little he still is cute though the girls who made him at a workshop loved him...

This is a silly set but very popular Holiday Lineup (111648) great for making tags as well as cards or line them all along a scrap book page... I colored these in with markers.

I am all registered for Leadership, have my hotel and roommates now need swaps.. So have been playing a bit. This card uses Teeny Tiny Wishes (115370) and Elizabeth (117120) I used the in color Peach Parfait as the base. Think I need to go back to the drawing board.

Yesterday was our church bake sale and here are some cookies that I made and bagged for the event. Used the Tags til Christmas (120847) and the Scallop Square punch (119884) also a retired Sale a bration set for the tags.

Journals

I have one more craft show I had sold all the journals I made so have been busy making a few more. A really good way to use up some retired paper. You can see that I have used the Big Shot with Flower Folds die ( 115970) and Flower Daisies #2 (114520) to dress up the journals.

Craft show display

Not the best picture but here I am am at one of the craft shows I was recently in. I had very good sales and one more show to go. I ran out of journals and dressed up chocolate bars and some of the little boxes so no complaints there..

Snowman Pail

Here is another sample of what the ladies will be making tonight at my stamp - a- stack event..
This uses Delightful Decorations (116517) and the words are from A Cardinal Christmas (111760). I used the jumbo wheel Whimsy (109688). The Scallop Edge Border Punch (119882),was used and a bit of ribbon the gingham is retired but the 1/8 inch Taffeta ribbon is current (119251). Thanks for stopping..

A Perfect game

We started using the wee again the first of the month. As a excerice tool. Now that it has turned cooler and the outside work is done. Well I bowled my first perfect game... It felt really good will probobly never do it again. Guess I shouldn't say never it will just be a very long time.

This was the project we did at the crop I attended recently. The colors went together so nice it was a nice treat to make something that I didn't have to cut the paper for.

Hello this is not the best picture a little too much shadow but I wanted you to see the inside.. This is one of my favorite sets from this years Christmas collection of stamps. The Cherry cobbler hits to top of my list for new colors as well, they make a great combination..
This simple card uses lots of things Big shot die Scallop Circle #2 (113469) and Embossing folder Petals-a-Plenty (116824). Punches Scallop Trim Corner (118870) and 1 3/4 Circle (119850) I added a bit of ribbon and that was it...

Journaling note books

It is always fun to have fancy note books to write in they make great gifts as well. Many years ago I made one and sent it to my sister she now makes them for her friends. These use the composition note books available in many store at a very reasonable price. I cover the writing in the inside cover and the last page just to make it nicer for writing in.

Little Owl Candy Boxes

Hello still working on things for craft shows these little boxes are made with the Big Shot Bitty Box and Envelope (115967). I used some retired paper and some current same with the ribbon. The owl of course is done with the Punch Two Step Owl (118074) and the stem Two Step Bird (117191). I have put Hersey nuggets inside that are wrapped with paper. These were fun to make.

scrapbooking

Hello today I am at a all day scrap booking event in Selkirk Manitoba hosted by a dear friend and fellow demo Michelle.. I am working on my yearly calender I give one to each of my children for Christmas. Stampin"Up! used to sell the calenders but have discontinued them but I print my own out on Confetti White paper. My husband bought me a bind it all a few years ago and it gets used on these..if you are are in my area and want to buy a calender ready to make 8 1/2 by 11 let me know. So I have my calender months ready to assemble today, all except Oct and Nov waiting for Halloween pictures.. Sure hope I am lucky enough to win a prize. Then tonight I am off to a costume Halloween dance sponsored by the church I used to attend before moving to Morden. So will be a very full and fun day...

Lovely as a Tree

This has got to be one of my all time favorite stamps Lovely As A Tree (115026) I know mine must be over 10 years old... I am gearing up for some stamp a stack events and here I think is one of my designs. Very simple to do just sponge a bit stamp the tree add dazzling diamonds. I also used Perfect Punches (120516) and punches 1 3/4 Scallop Circle (119854) and 1 3/8 Circle (119860). The Big Shot got used with Frame, Oval Scallop die (114521) this was the pattern for the sponging... I used confetti cream paper on this card.

Who doesn't like a snowman !!!

Hello stampers. Thanks for stopping by.. These guys seemed to be the rage last year at Christmas time. I had a few snowmen left over from candy bags and of course the candy was old now so I took them apart Hubby got the candy and made up a few of these cards. Uses the Big Shot (113439) The Top Note Die (113463) and several punches... easy and fun to make, I do like like snow men we usually put up several after Halloween one very large one that stands about 7 feet tall I will probably post a picture with him later on. This card uses the level 1 hostess set Birthday Bakery (117034) you can get it FREE for hosting a qualifying workshop.. I also used the eyelet Border Punch (119853) all of the paper is retired except the whisper white added a few buttons and that is it...

Hi it was National Card making day on the 2nd I held my event on the third and here is a sample of some more card boxes. These hold four cards and envelopes I will have several at my craft shows coming up... The boxes are so simple to make hope they are a hit...

Hi I have been busy making pins for craft shows that are coming up. These use the Circles #2 Die (114526) and the Flower Folds Bigz xl die ( 115970) with some of our accessories both current and retired.
These are actually very simple to do and use up scraps of material.

Happy Thanks Giving (Harvest Hoome)

Today is Canadian Thanks giving. I hope your all having family time and eating Turkey,Pumpkin Pie and all the other goodies that family gatherings bring.

We are fortunate to be celebrating with our oldest son and his family. It has been awhile since I had seen the girls.. We do have lots to be thankful for.

This card uses the set ( Harvest Home (111642) with pumpkin pie , confetti cream, old olive and chocolate chip paper. It was colored in with markers.

Finally a non Christmas Card.. This uses Aviary (116956) these little birds are so cute. The Because I Care a level one Hostess set was also used. Wheeled the Jumbo wheel Whimsy (109688), across the bottom and used the Eyelet Border punch (119853)

Another Season of Joy (110384) this one also uses the embossing folder Northern Flurry (120902) another sample from Irma very nice...I like how she used the different colors on the sayings. and added the Pearls to the flower.

This card was done by one of my down line. I really liked. Stamps Season of Joy (110384) it uses the Deck the Halls DSP (120810) from the mini. The Ribbon I'm not sure if it is ours or not. She has put sparkle of the tree. Very nice thanks Irma..

Uncharted Territory

Hi we are almost at the end of September all ready where does the time go...

One of my down line was over the other day and she brought this set Uncharted Territory (116952) over with her. As I did not have this set and hadn't thought much about what to do with it I was stumped I didn't want to water color and most things I had seen with this set were so this is what I came up with. I have always like black and white so that is what I used. I embossed the light house used the Photo Corner Punch (119878) and 1 1/4 Grosgrain ribbon (115615) in Basic Black. I kind of like it what do you think??

Spooky Spider
