It's Halloween (The Carters)

I have dressed every year since we moved to town. So here we are again... I borrowed these great, fantastic costumes and the neighbours thought we were wonderful.. I told a friend that I should take one of these pictures and put it on the fridge maybe it would be a incentive not to eat goodies. Ray said he sure wouldn't want to be this big... We had a fun time. The weather was great for the little ones this year.. Till next time.. thanks for stopping by I will get back to cards with the next posting. Off to a craft sale tomorrow...

My Digital Studio (peek)

I got my first 8/8 book back from the printers the other day. This was my first attempt at using My Digital Studio all in all I was quite pleased. I did learn a lot, and will be able make my next one even better. It only took 10 days from the time I sent it to the printers to arrive at my door. That is not bad to have it sent to Canada...
This program is very easy to use, me not being a computer whiz got the hang of it. That is a accomplishment on it's own... I would highly recommend My Digital Studio if you are thinking of a computer program to make Scrapbooks, Cards, Calenders you can also make DVDs with audio so there is great potential with this product.. Visit my stampin up web site for more information or to order. http://www.elainecarter.stampinup.net
Today is Thanksgiving here in Canada so HAPPY TURKEY DAY ALL, and Columbus Day in the USA.

Thoughts and Prayers

Here is one project for a upcoming card class.. It uses Thoughts and Prayers (113252) the Big shot with die Top Note (113463), Trio Flower Punch (109183) also the standard wheel Retro Remix (115619) added Silver Brads (104336) to the punched flowers. I used markers to color the tree and a little sponging. Seems like a lot of stuff but actually quite easy to do. I am sure the ladies will have no trouble making these.
It turned fairly cold today some said there was sleet, I was inside and never saw any. Really hoping for a nice Thanksgiving weekend.

Altered Tins

We made these at stamp club last week most of the DSP papers are retired, but not the Bashful Blue, Certainly Celery or So Saffron. Used lots of punches, too many to list here. The big beautiful flower was done with the Flower Folds die (115970) and the large square behind the flower was done with Clear Scallop Square(115950). I also had lots of ribbon and buttons for the girls to pick out what they wanted to use. They seemed to all have lots of fun..
Stamp club is lot of fun if you are in this area and would like to join or want more information please contact me.
