Just got home from meeting my new granddaughter such a sweetie.. It will be her big sisters birthday soon so I made this card for her. Inside is the Simple Birthday Thanks (111546) set, paper and ink... Not too early to get them started... Well March certainly is going out like a Lion, tomorrow is the first of the month again... Don't get caught with the April Fools jokes!!!
This is my newest Bigz Die for the Big Shot Oval Scallop Frame (114521) I think it will be one of my favorites...
This card uses Friends 24-7 (113218) Certainly Celery paper, marker and ribbon. Black and Whisper White paper with Cameo Coral Marker... Love this frame it is quite big and I think will be really nice for scrap booking as well.
Hello again today is bright and sunny and I am so glad as I am leaving later today for Saskatoon.. a long drive in winter weather.. Here is a card that we have been doing for make and takes this month. It uses a Good Egg (114974) Don't know if you can see it but the egg shell has Micro Beads(104266) the girls had so much fun with these of course they were loosing some and they would roll and get in the way.. A thank you goes out to all who supported me during Sale a bration it is with your help that I continue to be a demonstrator with Stampin'UP! The Occasions Mini starts on Wednesday next week lots of great new stuff in there. I hope to post it here but you will be able to see it on my web site as well on the first. You can order on line there as well. www.elainecarter.stampinup.net
I was suppose to be going to Winnipeg today but do to weather I am still at home. So thought I would post this card. It is not my origional design but I have used it for two stamp clubs and the girls liked it so thought I would post. It uses paper from the Sale a bration mini and the set Yummy(113782) also from the mini. Last day to order your $60.00 to get free products is Tomorrow from me unless you use the on line ordering through my web site www.elainecarter.stampinup.net Sale a bration ends Tuesday March 31. I will be away as I am going to meet my newest granddaughter for a few days. Taking my oldest granddaughter to see her cousins... I used Kraft. Sahara Sand and Very Vanilla paper , plus the BIG SHOT dies Top Note(113463) and Flower Daisies #2 (114520) .The background stamp Sanded (109294) was also used . Added a button to the flower with Pop Up Glue Dots(104183) this card would probably take extra postage if mailed.. Being I am home today hope to get a little more stamp time in as I will almost have with drawls by the time I return next Tuesday. Hopefully I will have tons of pictures to scrapbook...
Made these little baskets filled them with candy for my grandchildren. The eggs are done on Glossy White card stock (102599) with A Good Egg stamp set (114974) I used crayon resist where you color in any spot you do want the ink to stay. After coloring I sponged with several different bright colors, added a bit of ribbon. Were making these tonight at stamp club so if any of you girls are checking my blog this is one of our make and takes..
The weather outside is messy so hope it doesn't get any worse snowing now not rain today. If were lucky it won't last as long as predicted. Think positive as they say..
Here is a simple card that I have been using for make and takes. It uses the set Polka Dot Punches (113788) and the DSP paper Delicate Dots (114674) both are from the sale a bration mini this campaign is still on. It is Bravo Burgundy and Regal Rose paper several punches Petal Flower (109041), Large Oval (107305), Wide Oval (112082) and the Eyelet Border Punch (113692) so as I said lots of punches... Today it is melting again and lots of water is accumulating in the back yard. My hubby is outside trying to get his pump working so he can get it moving and away from his workshop... The fun of Spring thaw..
Here are a couple of cards made with a new set from the Occasions Mini Catalogue that will start April first. It's called Great Friend (113792). The black and white card also uses Barogue Motifs (113490) the butterflies are cut out and look like they are flying.. The green card uses Designer series paper To the Nines Specialty (114038) several punches and white ribbon. The butterfly here too is popped up.. Today the UPS man came to my door with The new Circle Scissor Plus (112530) I had been waiting for it as it was on back order way too long.. So perhaps some of my next cards will have circles...I know I will like it for scrapbooking.. Once again thanks for looking at my blog..
It's Wednesday evening I just got home and it has turned cold and snowing again... Darn snow maybe it will just be a few flurries... This is not a very good picture but this is made with four inch circles with the bigz clear dies..(114533) I also used sticky cuts Sweet (114301) and glitter and many other products that SU carries.. The ribbon is 5/8" Old Olive (109054) Was a lot of fun to put together.. Looks much better in real life..
Really like this Textured Impressions Die (114517) on the pink card I used the Brayer (102395) and Striped Grosgrain ribbon Pretty in Pink (113882). The other card uses the Beautiful Butterfly Die (114507) a bit of close to cocoa paper and the Eyelet Border Punch (113692) I am having fun using using all these dies in the big shot so glad that Stampin'UP! partnered with Sizzix. All though my check book would probably look a little better if I didn't like them quite so much... It has turned out to be a beautful day melting again thats a good sign. Thanks for looking at my blog..
I got some new toys yesterday I ordered the Textured Impression Die (114517) Manhattan Flower. This is much brighter in person I did the impression then covered with glitter, used the NEW Oval All (113790) stamp set and the NEW Scallop Oval Punch(114889) from the occasions mini catalogue which starts April 1st. We as demonstrators do get to pre order so we can make a few samples for you to see. Hope to get a little more time to play a bit. Thanks for looking ...............

These little boxes are made with the Bag w/ Scallops (114519) kind of fun to do, can think of lots of different designs.. should make good use of this die. We had a great weekend lots of family, friends, food, little drink and fun... Were invited out for supper, did some great stamping went to a social didn't win any prizes but that was ok stayed up till four AM. That's way past my bed time.. Visited with our daughter and her family before we left for home. Got some pictures of the kids so a very happy grandma..
I made this the other day it will be included in the shower gift for the bride. The LOVE is one of the (de'core elements). I am off today to do some stamping with Michelle haven't done that for a couple of months looking forward to our time together...Michelle is one of my convention travelers we have gone too at least four together and a few regionals as well.. till next time !!
This is the project I have been working on. I bought this box at the store that starts with (M) last time I was in the city. I covered it with the FREE paper from the Sale a bration mini... Then I cut out the leaves and several flowers with the Big Shot dies.. It was fun to do was a bit time consuming though. I used black and Baja Breeze paper for the leaves and flowers. also So Saffron on the boxes. The Mini Library Clips came in handy to hang a few sayings on the ribbon. Feel free to leave me any comments. Thanks for looking.
With seeing the new Easter stamp that are in the new mini and a pre order that you can take advantage of. Got me thinking Easter so got out A Good Egg (114974) made his little box with the Big Shot Top Note Bigz die (113463) you can't see the chocolates very well but they are covered and have pink circles on them. Here is a glimps of what you can order as of yesterday from the new Occasional mini that will be out for April 1st. (click to make the picturers bigger) If you are interested in any of these sets or the wheel just let me know.. Easter is not that far away. Love the little wagon set... I still have the wagon that I had as a young child and my mom would pull me and my sister to my grandmothers house... It has been almost re made, new wheels, paint, a few patches of metal, and its not red anymore either... and I won't tell you how old it is either lets just say it isn't made of plastic.... and the wheel are not hollow.. Made like a wagon should be.
Ever since I became a SU Demo I have made yearly calendars for my family. Sundays have been the day I stamp for me if I have time. This weekend I put all the numbers in and today started.. January is now done...You can hardly see the snowflakes all over but they are there... SU doesn't sell the calendars anymore but with the Bindit Machine I made these...I try and keep the months up so it isn't such a rush job come November...
First day of March today put in a pre order for the new mini coming up.. There are a few Easter stamps that you can order starting today. If you check out my website you can see them. www.elainecarter.stampinup.net
