Corn and Apple parade

This was the weekend of our towns Corn and Apple celebration. We had lots of company as usual like most people in town. There is a very good parade on Saturdays my four year old granddaughter was visiting from Saskatchewan she had a great time. Got lots of goodies and she squealed with delight. Now to clean the house change all the beds we had fourteen in our house so the beds and floors were all taken.
Hopefully I can get back to stamping soon. I think the new Holiday Mini's are in the mail and it is full of fantastic new products.

cookie monsters

We were shown these little monsters at convention aren't they sweet. Fun to make and of course Delicious to eat.

Today is the beginning of our Corn and Apple Festival here in Morden. Lot of fun and free corn and apple cider a big hit for miles around. We like so many have lots of company this weekend. Our son his family, our daughter, and adopted family will all be here. So hope it warms up and the rain that we needed and got yesterday stay away now till next week. Enjoy the weekend

Build a Bear sneak peek

This cute little bear is Beary Best Friends(118052) set from the up coming holiday mini starts Sept 1. I have used Burmuda Bay ribbon, marker and paper on confetti white and white card stock. The eyelet border punch (113692) made the frame. Isn't she sweet. This and many more new and exciting things are available in the new up coming mini many of you will get one in the mail any day. I held a stamp a stack on Monday evening thank you ladies for coming they all did 20 cards. Build a Bear is here

Most of you have probably heard that Stampin"Up! has partnered with Build a Bear... I made this little bag, we were able to make a bear at convention so here is mine. It is Stampin"Up! Bear (117977), Stampin"Up!Beary Essentials(117980) and DS Paper Pawstively Prints (118060). The bag was in my stash and I just put pink paper inside and also sponged a little around the edges.
Build a Bear was walking around convention and I had my picture taken with him. My what big paws you have.
These bears are so cute and so much can be done with them. There are such cute clothes that you can make my Big Shot(113439) will certainly be getting a work out...Till next time

Covention swap

These two boxes were part of a swap I received from B J Peters aren't they cute. That little turkey would be cute on the Thanksgiving Day table or the Pumpkin with a few treats inside. If you would be interested in doing a class of these let me know and I will set up a date. There are two more boxes will show another day.
I am finally getting caught up after convention takes a few days with sorting swaps and putting on boards, or in packets for display. Laundry of course and then there is gardening to catch up on. I picked three big bouquets of sweet peas so far since home. Thanks for stopping have a great day

Convention was a blast as usual we had a great time. We learned lots of new tricks hope I can remember some of them.. I am sorting my swaps right now and putting many on my display boards and putting up some of the 3D items as well.

stamp a stack sample

Well I am home from convention hopefully I can post tomorrow and give you a little about what I did and so on. Still tired after the very long drive will get into that as well. Glad to be home but had a GREAT time. Thanks to my room mates, Judy, Michelle and Peg who put up with me for seven days... made memories....

This card is one that the girls will be doing at my stamp a stack coming up on Monday.. Uses the texture impression folder Elegant Bouquet (115964) colored with caulks, also uses the large oval (107305) and scallop oval (114889) punches. the stamp set Oval All (113790). Thanks for stopping.

Eight new posts

Well I had eight posts ready for Ray to post while I was away at convention well being I am not very good at computers we couldn't figure out how to change the date. So I just posted everything tonight as I leave at about 7 AM tomorrow... I hope you enjoy looking at my swaps for this year please leave a comment if you wish. Swap Calendar

One more of the sign up swaps that I joined while at convention. This one used the Bind It All machine. It was a calender with lots of stamps used inside. The front was done with the Big Shot Machine (113439) The sizzlit Little Leaves (114511) and the Stampin'Up Bigz die Flower Folds(115970).

Swap Pizza Box Autumn Days

Had another sign up swap and this is what I did. This is the Pizza Box done with Autumn Days(115452) I have used the new in colors and ribbon. Inside are 3/3 note cards with Mini Square Envelops (107309) the Eyelet Border Punch (113692) was used on the sides of the box. these were a little hard to transport as they took up space.

SWAPS Gifts of Christmas

I made 26 of these for a sign up swap It uses the set Gifts of Christmas (115372) also the big shot Top Note die(113463) one of my favorite dies..

There is White and Bashful Blue paper with Night of Navy ribbon(109036) The Trio Flower (109183) punch was used with silver brads. Got out the big shot again and used Texturz plates Backgrounds 1 (114512) This one took a little time but I do like the look of it. The stamping was done with Not Quite Navy and the sponging with Bashful Blue.

Swap The More the Merrier

Ok another Halloween treat. This holds Hersey Kisses, this is a small triangle box. I used the Level three hostess set The More the Merrier (115322) It is a set of 10 stamps that you can earn for hosting a workshop. Just give me a call or email and we can set up a date that suits you.. Here I popped up several of the little pumpkins looks much better in real life...

Swap Just Jawing

Not sure if I like this or not but made 10 to swap.. It uses Just Jawing(111660) Done in Black and White. Also uses the matching wheel Scary Skulls (113119) I embossed YOU ROCK with gold and used a bottle cap with the small scull in it. The Heart to Heart punch(113694) was used to make the eyes...added a little sponging. Hey it's done...

Swap( Gifts of Christmas)

Here is another swap I have done. This is Gifts of Christmas(115372) It uses Real Red and White paper, Gold embossing that's it. I just cut out the dove and placed it on top of the gold dove. Very simple

Swap Harvest Home

I am off to convention today, there are four of us driving to Salt Lake. Michelle, Judy and Peggy we have all travelled together before so we should be just fine on this long drive.
